2009 (Senior): Started 10 of 11 games, missing the final game of the season due to an injury... Selected as a captain during the preseason... Named to the First Team All-Northeast Conference for the second consecutive season.
2008 (Junior): Started all 11 games
for the Hawks at right guard... Named First Team All-Northeast Conference... Led
the way for All-American David Sinisi's record breaking season while combining
with two other all-conference offensive linemen... Wright was part of a unit
that allowed just nine sacks in 11 contests, which was eighth in the
NCAA.
2007 (Sophomore): Started
every game at guard for the Hawks... Earned Second Team All-NEC honors after
leading the way for one of the conference's best rushing attacks... Protected
All-NEC quarterback Brett Burke, who registered the best completion percentage
in school history.
2006 (Freshman): Played
three games before suffering a season-ending injury... Made first collegiate
appearance against Fordham (9/2).
High School: Played for
Bill McGregor at DeMatha High School (Md.)... Helped the Stags to the Washington
Catholic Athletic Conference Championship and a national ranking of 14th as a
senior... DeMatha was 11-1 in 2005 with Wright playing on the offensive and
defensive line... Selected to the All-WCAC team... Earned team's Most Valuable
Lineman award.
