WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. - The Monmouth University baseball game at Saint Peter's, scheduled for Thursday, March 20, has been postponed due to poor field conditions. The game has been rescheduled for next Thursday, March 27, with first pitch set for 3:30 p.m., in Jersey City.

Monmouth is set to return to action on Saturday, when the Hawks host the University of Vermont in a non-conference doubleheader at noon. Game one will consist of nine innings, while the second game of the twinbill will be a seven-inning game. In between games of the doubleheader, Monmouth will honor the 1977 Baseball Team, which advanced to the NAIA World Series during the 1977 season.
