EDISON, N.J. – For the second time this season, Monmouth University’s Brady Goodling (Manheim, Pa./Manheim Central) was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men’s Golfer of the Month, league officials announced Monday afternoon.
In the Hawks’ two events in October, Goodling paced the squad with a 76.3 stroke average. At the Binghamton Invitational, the junior shot a one-over-par 73 in the rain-shortened event to lead the Blue and White, before firing a 156 (74-82) in the 36-hole Barnabas Health Intercollegiate hosted by Seton Hall.
Over nine total rounds this fall, Goodling posted a 74.8 stroke average, including earning two medalist honors at the Iona Quad Match and ECAC Championships.
Goodling and Monmouth open its spring season at the Villanova Invitational March 31-April 1 following the conclusion of its annual spring break trip to Florida.
