- The Monmouth University men's tennis team, the runner-up in last year's Northeast Conference Finals, has been picked to finish fourth in the NEC Preseason Coaches' Poll, the league office today announced. Last year's tournament champions Fairleigh Dickinson is selected to repeat, capturing five first-place nods, followed by Bryant, which claimed three first-place tallies, and Quinnipiac, which captured the final two first-place votes.
The league coaches' selected Sacred Heart to finish fifth, ahead of Mount St. Mary's and Saint Francis (Pa.) which come in at sixth and seventh, respectively. Robert Morris, Saint Francis Brooklyn and Wagner round out the poll eighth, ninth and 10th.Cory Hubbard

The Mercer County Tennis Center in West Windsor, NJ will once again serve as the venue for the 10-team single-elimination championship from April 18-21. The winner will earn the NEC's automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament field.
The Hawks are back on the courts next Saturday, February 22nd, as they travel to Bethlehem, Pa. to battle Lehigh.
