MU SOFTBALL PARK
Situated slightly northwest of the recently constructed, state-of-the-art Multipurpose Activity Center, the Monmouth University Softball Park is a natural grass softball facility that the Hawks call home. The Park is equipped with ample seating, two dugouts, and an electronic scoreboard for fans and players alike to enjoy the successes of Monmouth University softball.
The Hawks have seen many personal and team triumphs at the park, including a stellar senior season for Nichole Alvarez, who lead the nation in batting in 2008 with an average of .480. Alvarez became the second player form a team in the Northeast Conference in the last 15 years to win the NCAA Division I batting title.
MU has posted a 174-99 All-Time NEC Record since 1994, while finishing their 2008 home campaign at 11-6.
