THREE COMPLETE GAMES
In their first MAAC series, the MU pitching staff posted three complete games, as pitchers Andrew McGee, T.J. Hunt, and Chris McKenna threw 25 innings, allowing only two runs, 16 strikeouts, and zero walks on their way to three straight victories. The pitchers also recorded 13 1-2-3 innings while averaging just 12 pitches per inning in the sweep of Marist in the first home series of 2014. McGee started things with a Game One win, and Hunt and McKenna finished off the series with gems of their own.

FIELDING NATIONALLY
Last weekend in the sweep of Marist, the Hawks did not make a defensive error. This season, MU ranks 8th in the nation in fielding percentage at 0.983. MU has the highest fielding percentage in the MAAC, and has the same fielding percentage as the sixth and seventh best teams, Saint Louis and Tennessee. MU has only committed 10 errors on the season, compared to the 18 double plays turned by the infield. T.J. Hunt has rolled up nine of the 18, and MU turned two four times in the three wins over the Red Foxes.
