WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J.- The Monmouth baseball team has announced three schedule changes for the month of April, including the rescheduling of two games that had been affected by the recent inclement weather. Due to early season cancellations, MU also added a road game and will now play ten non-conference games in April in addition to three MAAC weekends.

The game against Wagner that was originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 has been moved to next Tuesday, April 1 at 3:00 p.m. at MU Baseball Field. Last Wednesday’s regularly scheduled contest at Fairleigh Dickinson has been pushed back to April 24, when the Hawks will visit Hackensack to take on the Knights. Finally, Monmouth will make the trip to Hempstead, N.Y. to play Hofstra on Tuesday, April 29. Exact game times for the road matchups at FDU and Hofstra have not yet been determined.

MU baseball continues MAAC play this weekend when the Niagara Purple Eagles visit West Long Branch. First pitch for Saturday’s doubleheader is set for noon. For all updates on Monmouth baseball, follow @MUHawksBaseball on Twitter.
