6 Tevrin Brandon

2013: Started all 12 at cornerback and returned kickoffs for the Hawks... The UConn transfer had 15 passes defended, including three interceptions... His 12 pass breakups was the fourth most among FCS players. A physical player, Brandon was second on the team in solo tackles with 43 and fourth in overall tackles with 51 stops... He also blocked a pair of kicks and had a fumble recovery in his only season with the Hawks.

2012:
Had to sit out to satisfy NCAA residency restrictions.

BEFORE MONMOUTH:
PLAYED IN 22 CONTESTS FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF CONNECTICUT

2011: 
Played in all 12 games, both on defense and special teams... Finished with six tackles, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

2010: Saw playing time in nine games as a reserve for the Huskies ... Saw action in all of the games during UConn's five-game win streak at the end of the season which helped the Huskies capture the BIG EAST Championship.

2009: Redshirted ... Was named the Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week prior to the Pittsburgh (Oct. 10), Cincinnati (Nov.7) and Notre Dame (Nov. 21) games.

High School: Played corner, wide out and returned kicks under coach Tarik Haddad at Bethlehem Catholic High School... All-state honorable mention and second team (Lehigh Valley) The Express-Times All-Area ... Intercepted eight passes and made 51 tackles as senior ... Named first team all-conference his junior year after making 51 tackles and five interceptions ... Also ran track in high school, making the first team all-area his sophomore and junior years.
