2013 (Senior): Played in all 12 contests, finishing with 11 tackles, including seven solot stops... Made two solo tackles against Montana State (8/29)... Had two tackles, including one for a loss against Lehigh (9/14)... Made two solo stops in win over Columbia (9/28).

2012 (Junior):
Moved to defensive line before the spring of 2012... Appeared in three games as a junior… Made first career tackle against Wagner on 9/15, which was credited as a tackle for loss.

2011 (Sophomore):
Played in nine games on the offensive line.

2010 (Freshman):
Did not see playing time as a true freshman.

High School:
Played three seasons at center and tackle under coach Lou Vircillo at Lacey Township High School... The Lions made it to the state semifinals in each of Neal's three years, including a run to the state finals in 2007... Was a First Team All-Shore, Second Team All-Ocean County and Third Team All-Group III selection throughout his career... Also earned Second Team All-Shore as a sophomore... Earned a spot on the Academic All-Shore Team.

Personal: Son of Jill Nowitzke... Majoring in communication.
